Overview

The 300 Series heat-resistant stainless steel plate, specifically the 310/310S alloy (UNS S31000/S31008), is designed for high-temperature environments. It offers excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance due to its high chromium and nickel content. This alloy also provides greater strength at room temperature compared to the austenitic 304 alloy.

General Properties

The 309/309S and 310/310S austenitic stainless steels are frequently used in high-temperature operations. Their composition ensures good corrosion and oxidation resistance. At room temperature, these alloys are stronger than the 304 alloy.

Applications
