- Description
Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant pipe that combines the advantages of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels.
Its dual-phase microstructure (approximately 50% austenite, 50% ferrite) provides superior mechanical strength, excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, and high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in chloride-rich environments.
Duplex pipes are widely used in chemical, petrochemical, marine, oil & gas, and pulp & paper industries, where both strength and corrosion resistance are critical.
Main Grades of Duplex Stainless Steel

Applications: Offshore platforms, chemical tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels
2. Super Duplex (UNS S32750 / S32760)
-
Chromium (Cr): 24–26%
-
Nickel (Ni): 6–8%
-
Molybdenum (Mo): 3–5%
-
Nitrogen (N): 0.24–0.32%
-
Applications: Oil & gas pipelines, desalination plants, chemical reactors, offshore subsea components
3. Lean Duplex (UNS S32101 / S32201)
-
Chromium (Cr): 21–22%
-
Nickel (Ni): 1.5–2.5%
-
