Durability of SUS304
SUS304 was tested specifically for its functionality as an exterior material. Durability estimates over 40 years were based on the depth of corrosion holes. The test revealed that while SUS304’s appearance changed noticeably in the early stages of exposure, the rate of change slowed over time.
Corrosion Depth Findings
- In highly corrosive areas, SUS304’s corrosion depth was approximately 0.13mm or less.
