Kumparan Stainless Steel Grosir 304 316 Cold Rolled Finishes

In the Wholesale Stainless Steel Coil, the cold rolled stainless steel coil is more common. Cold rolled finishes are used for flat products such as sheets or coils that are typically less than 5mm thick, often under 3mm. The process starts with hot rolling a strip (or casting a slab which is then hot rolled into a strip) before undergoing cold rolling. This cold rolling step reduces the thickness by at least 50%, smoothing the surface, refining the grain structure, and altering the mechanical properties along and across the rolling direction. For austenitic and duplex alloys, this process also hardens and strengthens the stainless steel. Finally, the steel is softened by annealing in a furnace. Additional processes can be applied to further enhance the surface finish, with smoother finishes offering higher resistance to corrosion.
