Quilted stainless steel sheets, également connu sous le nom embossed or patterned stainless steel sheets, are decorative metal panels formed with raised geometric textures such as quilt, diamond, leather, water ripple, and checker patterns.
Ils sont largement utilisés dans décoration architecturale, revêtement mural, elevator interiors, plafonds, and furniture panels.

Processus de fabrication principal

1. Sélection du matériau de base

Most quilted stainless steel sheets are produced from:

• 304 / 304L – general decorative use

• 316 / 316L – high corrosion resistance

• 430 – cost-effective indoor decoration

Common base finishes: 2B, BA, or No.4.

2. Nettoyage des surfaces & Nivellement

The flat sheet is degreased, leveled, and polished to ensure:

• uniform surface

• no scratches

• stable embossing quality

3. Hydraulic Embossing (Roll Pressing)

UN hydraulic rolling embossing machine presses the sheet between two engraved rollers.
High pressure forms the raised pattern permanently without cutting the metal.

• Pression: 150–300 tons

• Depth: 0.3 – 1.2 mm (depending on pattern)

4. Stress Relief & Lissage

After embossing, the sheet may be slightly deformed.
It is flattened using a leveling machine to ensure précision dimensionnelle.

6. Protective Film & Coupe

Each sheet is covered with PVC protective film and cut to size by:

• Découpe laser

• Tonte

• Découpe au jet d'eau
