Surge in Indonesian Nickel Ore and NPI Prices

August 2, 2024 – Since the start of the year, prices for Indonesian nickel ore and Nickel Pig Iron (NPI) have increased sharply. Prices for high nickel content laterite ore have risen by nearly 50%.

Monetary Policy and Inflation Trends

The Bank of England (BoE) recently reduced its key interest rate by 0.25 percentage points, bringing it to 5.0%.
