Processing and Conversion Forms of Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings

Introduction

Stainless steel pipe fittings and elbows undergo various forms of processing and deformation. Below are the different methods used to process and deform these fittings:

Form 1: Flanges and Round Edges

• Brides: The pipe end is convex, either inside or outside.
• Round Edges: Bulges or grooves are formed around the pipe’s circumference.

Form 2: Variable Wall Thickness

• Stainless Steel Elbow: The wall thickness changes along the length of the pipe.

Form 3: Pliage

• Stainless Steel Elbow: Straight pipes are bent into curved pipes with different radii, such as elbows.

Form 4: Variable Diameter

• Stainless Steel Elbow: The diameter of the pipe end or a section of the pipe is reduced.

Form 5: Curling and Bottom Sealing

• Curling: The pipe end is curled inward or outward to increase strength.
• Bottom Sealing: The end of the pipe fitting is sealed.
